Our Team

Ronald J. Portel serves as President of Faith Baptist and has been an integral part of the school community for 29 years.

He is also recognized as an outstanding Sunday School teacher and brings over 40 years of experience working with children.

Ronald enjoys cheering for his grandson, who plays on the Lindawood school football team, and continues to serve Limestone Christian Academy in various capacities.

Katie Clark serves as Principal and brings over 20 years of experience in education. She holds a master’s degree in religious education and is also an accomplished author, with nearly three dozen novels and children’s books published through Capstone Press, Lerner Publications, and Watershed Books. Her educational writing has been featured in ESL and reading comprehension workbooks for use in schools and with multiple curriculum distributors. Outside of her professional work, Katie enjoys traveling, reading, baking, and spending time in the sunshine.

Corey Patton serves as Academic Administrator, a role he stepped into in 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Music and brings nearly 15 years of combined experience working with children and education.

Before entering school administration, Corey spent a decade coaching youth sports and growing his business, Vanguard Property Management, LLC. He enjoys sports—We are Penn State!—and traveling.

Jackie Pyle has been working in the administrative field since 2006, bringing nearly two decades of experience in administrative operations. She is known for being highly organized, dependable, and passionate about building strong relationships with students, staff, and families. Jackie takes pride in creating a supportive and efficient environment where others feel valued and heard.

Outside of her professional role, Jackie enjoys spending quality time with her family. She loves fishing, boating, and going on cruises whenever she can. She also serves faithfully in her church as the head of the nursery, where she finds joy in caring for children and supporting families in a meaningful way.

Jeannie Helton holds a Master of Christian Education and brings over 31 years of experience in education, with the past 26 years dedicated to early childhood learning. She is passionate about shaping young minds and fostering a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Outside of her professional work, Jeannie enjoys fishing, spending time outdoors, crafting, and cruising. She values time with her family and grandchildren and is actively involved in her church community, where her faith remains an important part of her life.

Roberta “Bert” Belvitch has been teaching for 22 years and serves as a dedicated K–5 teacher. She holds an Associate of Science in General Education from Calhoun Community College (1998) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education from Faith Baptist College, expected in 2025.

Originally from Westmoreland, New Hampshire, she enjoys raising chickens and cheering for any team that plays against Alabama.

Abby Stevenson serves as an Elementary Supervisor and has been teaching for three years. She has completed ACE supervisor’s training and holds a high school diploma.

A native of Athens, Alabama, Abby enjoys playing pickleball, reading, and cheering for Ohio State.

Amy Patton brings 38 years of experience working with preschool-age children in both daycare and church settings. She has completed continuing education in preschool teaching and holds a high school diploma, along with college coursework in English and Accounting.

Originally from State College, Pennsylvania, Amy enjoys cooking and cheers for Penn State.

Hannah Boyd serves as one of the Elementary Supervisors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts and has completed ACE supervisor’s training.

With two years of experience working with children, she also enjoys teaching Kings Tweens on Wednesdays at her church alongside her husband, Jordan.
